JOB PURPOSE:
Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid California BSIS guard card
- Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for some positions)
- Must have a reliable means of communication.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must pass company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen.
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state licensing and permit requirements for security work.
- Minimum 1 year of security experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Monitor premises to deter theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.

· Ability to stand or walk for long periods
· Flexible to work non-scheduled hours when needed

- May be exposed to high levels of noise or variations in weather and temperature

1.Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
2.Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
3.Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
Requirements:

Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
